How this works

This is not a quiz with a score that pushes you toward a demo. It is a set of questions to ask yourself honestly. Read each one and notice your gut answer. If most of your answers point one way, the last section tells you what a sensible next step looks like, including the option to do nothing yet.

There is no wrong answer here. A practice that is genuinely fine today should hear that, not a pitch.

• Do you or your clinicians regularly finish notes after hours?
• Does charting cut into chair time, lunch, or the time you would rather spend with patients?
• If a note takes longer than the procedure deserved, does it still get shortcut under pressure?

• If a note were questioned a year from now, would it clearly show what was discussed and why?
• Are your notes consistent across providers and locations, or does quality depend on who wrote it?
• Could you point to the moment in the encounter that supports each line?

• Do documented procedures reliably turn into the right codes?
• Do you know what a patient owes before they leave the chair?
• Do claims tend to go out clean, or do denials and rework eat your team's week?

What your answers suggest

If almost everything above is already handled, you may not need to change anything today, and that is a fine place to be. Revisit this when your volume grows or your team changes.

If a few answers gave you pause, especially around after-hours charting or claims rework, the cost is real even if it is invisible on any single day. A low-risk next step is to try a tool on one chair for one week, with no rip-and-replace, and see whether the time comes back. You can decide from there.
